Henan crane manufacturers introduce the functions of components such as the lifting mechanism of the crane hook
Lifting machinery of the boom type features a hoisting mechanism, a luffing mechanism, and a twisting mechanism. These mechanisms work together to enable the lifting and handling of heavy objects within a certain cylindrical space. Most boom-type cranes are mounted on vehicles or other transport (mobile) tools, forming mobile boom-type cranes such as truck cranes, wheel cranes, crawler cranes, and portal cranes. There are also some fixed boom-type cranes, such as fixed mast cranes and jib cranes.
The elevator only has one lifting mechanism, but there are many other auxiliary devices in the elevator. The characteristic of the elevator is that the heavy object or the lifting device can only move up and down along the guide rail, such as simple elevators, construction elevators, etc. The technical parameters of lifting machinery indicate the working capacity of lifting machinery, which is the basic basis for designing lifting machinery and the basic knowledge that all lifting machinery operators must master.
Lifting height H refers to the vertical distance from the horizontal parking surface of the lifting machinery (double-beam crane - double-main beam gantry crane) to the highest position allowed for the lifting device. For hooks and forks, it is calculated to their supporting surfaces; for other lifting devices, it is calculated to their lowest points (in the closed state). For bridge cranes, the lifting height should be measured from the ground when they are placed above the horizontal site without load. The lowering depth h refers to the vertical distance between the lowest working position and the horizontal supporting surface of the crane. For hooks and forks, it is calculated from their supporting surfaces; for other lifting devices, it is calculated from their lowest points (in the closed state). For bridge cranes, the lowering depth is measured from the ground level when they are placed above the horizontal site without load.
Based on the manufacturing method, hooks can be divided into forged hooks and plate-type hooks. Forged hooks are generally made of high-quality carbon steel 20, processed through forging, stamping, annealing, and then machining. Forged hooks can be made into single hooks and double hooks. Plate-type hooks are generally used on lifting machinery with large lifting capacities. They are made by overlapping and riveting 30mm-thick molded plates. Plate-type hooks are equipped with guard plates, which are generally made of steel plates rolled from Q235A, Q235B, or 16Mn steel. Plate-type hooks are also divided into single hooks and double hooks, with single hooks being more commonly used on forged lifting machinery.
