Henan crane manufacturer: Explanation of several fixing methods for crane rails

1. Pressure plate fixing method. Generally, for horizontal adjustments of lifting machinery, the holes on the pressure plate need to be elongated; for vertical adjustments, pads can be added under the steel rail. This method is relatively simple, but it requires a large number of shims with varying thicknesses for adjustment. The adjustment shims are crescent-shaped and are placed inside the pressure plate holes to prevent lateral displacement of the track. The pressure plate should have sufficient rigidity and can be made with single or double holes depending on the force applied.

2. Hook-shaped screw fixation method.

3. Combined welding and bolt fastening method. First, weld a spacer with a long hole on the bottom of the steel rail or square rail on the ground. Then, lift it onto the anchor bolt of the rail support beam and secure it. This method requires accurate installation of the anchor bolt and welding of the spacer plate, otherwise the hole and bolt may not align, causing installation difficulties. To ensure that the track does not undergo lateral displacement during use, the spacer can be inserted inside the adjusted hole of the spacer plate.

Henan crane manufacturers summarize that regardless of the method mentioned above, single-beam cranes such as A6 double-beam cranes - QD type electric double-beam bridge cranes must be filled solidly at each rail joint, especially for steel rail joints with sleepers. The two steel rail joints need to be connected with precision fishplates.
